ceejay1
loads and loads of people are having the same problem regarding xml parsing errors, i.e (not well formed (invalid token) at line 1 of highlights.xml) and (not well formed (invalid token) at line 1 of speed.xml) The trouble shooting suggestion SI have put forward for this problem does not work on my computer.. this is the below meathod, Right-click on the FM shortcut. Choose "Properties" from the pop-up menu. In the "Target" field, add the --reset_preferences command line option after "fm.exe", so it should look like this: "C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\fm.exe" --reset_preferences Press OK and then try to run the game as normal, using the shortcut. Does anyone out there actually have a meathod of putting this parsing error problem to bed or is that my game doomed? why on earth do SI have to make these games so complicated???!!! any help would be great guys, cheers.
