Cant find 9.2.0 Patch

I've downloaded and installed it and its in the Sports Interactive folder in Applications but when i start a new game the 9.2.0 DB isnt there and also isnt there on the Editor.

Just wondering if it should be there and what i should do.

On a Macbook btw.

i have the same thing, but i think it is installed, as ive done it twice

apparently this patch affects saved games so carry on playing whichever game you were playing

when its had done downloading you need to double click on the patch icon and then click on update.

But i just cant load it in a new game.

you could try redownloading the patch.

You've run the patch .app?

if you have FM with steam does it automatically download the patch for you or do you have to downlaod it yourself????????????

Steam automatically patches the game providing you're online when Steam is on and you haven't disabled auto-update.

We've not had this on any of the Macs looked at.

First of all did you definatley install it to the right directory? You have to manually navigate to this folder as the Mac software will not always pick up the right folder:

Mac HD\Applications\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\

Once you've selected that folder inside the patch and clicked install it should update your fm.app and put the database and tools in the correct place. Check your \Applications\Sports interactive\ folder, it should not have a copy of the FM.app or the data folders, if they are there then you have installed it to the wrong place (they won't do any harm there).

Again to patch.

1. Doubleclick the .app

2. Once booted up click 'continue'

3. You'll be presented with a dialogue box asking where you wish to install the patch too.

4. Click your Mac Hard Drive icon and then navigate to \applications\sports interactive\football manager 2009\

5. Click "choose" or "open" and then run the patch.

Also make sure Steam is active and online when you run Football Manager.

thanks il try that when i come home from work!

It worked for me. The installer want to install the patch in the 9.1 folder. When I redirected it to the Football Manager 09 folder it worked.

If I play the game through Steam will the patch be automatically installed?

Yes, Steam will automatically download and install the patch for you next time you try to run FM 09 trough Steam.

And you dont need Steam to install/run FM09 on Mac. You just do the same as you did on FM08.

Yeah i think i know why now. It was installed into update-910. Thanks for the help Steve.
