Identifying regenerated superstars?

Hi guys,

I haven't played the game since around 2000/01 when it was Champ Manager but thought like having some more fun with it. A nifty trick I used to identify regenerated superstars was to note down a couple of attributes that never changed no matter what age the player was, I think they were Bravery, determination, aggression (may have been another) and obviously their position.

What I would then do was watch out for retiring players (only the world class ones ) and note down these attributes and their nationality, then after they had retired and regenerated players had been put into the game engine I would search all the clubs of the players nationality and look for young players that had the matching attributes of the retired player. I would eventually build up a team of regenerated superstars.

My question is - Do the above mentioned attributes change at all in FM? For example can a players aggression change from say 14 to 17 as they age.

Regens don't work like that anymore. Instead of being a copy of old players, they're completely random new ones.
