FM won't work from Steam

WTF. What should I do?

Try playing without Steam, it might work:

First off open the steam folder in your c/drive

Once there find the folder called steamapps

then open the common folder

then open 2009 folder

Then right click fm2009 icon and select create shortcut.

Drop that to your desktop.

Once all this is done you will not need to load up steam every time you play the game.

Another ****-up from SI and Steam, if they do this DRM crap next year, I refuse to buy.

Maybe you should have tried activating with UniLoc instead of Steam - as soon as all the initial activation issues were solved, it was a lot less hassle than activating with Steam imo.

But still, I understand where you're coming from - DRM was a bother for a lot of people, including myself.
