Parscelona Posted November 20, 2008 Share Posted November 20, 2008 Hey, Basically i've installed my game fine via Uniloc except i can't seem to download the patch for some reason! :confused: I've tried every download link to download the patch but it keeps coming up with the same error message of, ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Windows has found a problem with this file, Name: FM2009v9.1.0Patch.exe Publisher: Unknown Publisher This file was blocked because it does not have a valid data signature that verifies it's publisher. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm using Windows Vista, can anyone help me please?, as i still can't play the game without the new patch! lloydy_wales Posted November 20, 2008 Share Posted November 20, 2008 Is the patch trying to update the right area? when I downloaded the patch and clicked run i got a windows found a problem error and it wouldnt load. However when i clicked on the patch .exe file the programe opened and it turned out it was trying to update the default location instead of my D drive where i installed the game. Guest PW Posted November 20, 2008 Share Posted November 20, 2008 There has been a few issues with this and this has worked for me and others: You need to SAVE the download from the site and don't run it. Save it to whatever folder you wish to on your PC. Once it has saved exit the site you downloaded it from and go to the file that you have saved on your PC. daylight Posted November 20, 2008 Share Posted November 20, 2008 Mate when downloading the patch and save it too your desktop dont select run etc only save and to your desktop,once it has downloaded double click the icon on your desktop and click run,it will then save the patch to the FM09 folder. Parscelona Posted November 20, 2008 Author Share Posted November 20, 2008 Thanks a lot guys for all the help, i eventually got the patch after finding the patch file had placed itself in my FM database folder, clicked it and it's updated the game and works!
