kippax1977
If you get relegated and a players relegation release clause is activated then you get promoted the following season, does this clause become inactive again or do you have to get him to sign a new contract to get rid of the clause? Thanks in advance
Ozzy38
I'd imagine the clause is still active so you would have to re-sign him. Getting relegated, even if you get promoted straight away, is still as damaging, and the change in circumstances would make a new contract standard procedure anyway probably. Cheers for that, Ive still got a few games to go but the title is wrapped up, I suppose I will just have to try and get him to re-sign as there is a few teams sniffing round him now
