Help with editing a skin

I want to use a new skin but I don't like the colour of the player stats in most of them.Is there anyway to change them to the colour in the skins Noche and Steklo?

The attribute colours are controlled by the fm colours.xml file that will be located in the settings folder within the skin.

If you wish to change the attribute colours, you will need to download and extract both skins - the one you want to use and the Noche/Steklo skin to take the colours from. Goto the settings folder for the Noche/Steklo skin and open the fm colours.xml file in notepad, you'll notice several blocks of code, if you just want to change the attribute colours highlight and copy the first block of code (the ones with <colour_name="... attribute....)

Then open the fm colours.xml file for the skin you are using with notpad, and paste those lines of code into the file overwriting the existing lines - alternatively you can open both files side by side and adjust the red, green and blue numbers from the skin you are using so they match the numbers from the Noche/Steklo skin.

Once you have done that save the file for the skin you want to use, make sure the skin is in your User Data folder if not already. Load the game up, turn the skin cache off and select reload skin or select your new skin if not already selected, click confirm and it should be using your new colours.

If you want to replace all the colours, just copy the fm colours.xml file over so it overwrites the existing file for the skin.
