postal postie
just got into contract negotiations with a 28 year old martin skrtel, at the start of the 3rd season. he had played 64 league games in the last two years. he asked me to make an offer before saying what he wanted and since he was on 40k, i offered 50k a week, as i thought that was reasonable. His agent then comes back and says "thats very reasonable, but i want 27.5k a week! can anyone shed abit of light on why this may have happened? he was a regular for me, so i'm wondering if some stat in the background has dropped which makes him think he's not worth as much money. Anderson's Left Peg
Well it would be dependant on the other conditions in the contract. It may be worth looking at his loyalty fee, the agents fee and his apperance fee. If he is getting a much bigger apperrance fee, with the amount of games he plays it could effectivley be a pay increase
