is this a bug?

hi i notiched in one on the champs league group the team placed second have qualified but the 1st place team haven't

here is the table

1)PSG. PLD5 W3 D1 L1 F 12 AG 4 GD 8 PTS 10

2) Sporting(POR) PLD 5. W3 D1 L1 F6 AG 4 GD 2 PTS 10

3) Inter PLD 5 W2 D1 L2 F10 AG 4 GD 6 PTS 7

4) Sparta Prague PLD 5 W0 D1 L 4 F0 AG 16 GD -16 PTS 11

how does make sense that sporting have qualified and psg haven't?

in another group OM are 3Rd and west ham 2nd -both have 7pts but OM have a gd of 5 with west hams 0

Inter are playing PSG in the last game. Whatever the result in that game, Sporting will qualify due to head-to-head record against the other two.

If Inter don't beat PSG then PSG and Sporting qualify. If Inter do beat PSG (assuming Sporting lose) then all 3 teams have 10 points at the top. What happens then is the results against Sparta are ignored and you have a head-to-head table of the three teams matches against each other.

Sporting will top that as they have 9 points against Inter/PSG whereas PSG and Inter would have 7 each.
