new contract while on holiday

So I was managing Exeter and we had qualified for the play offs with 3 games in hand, I thought okay I will holiday till just after the end of the season then come and guide us through the play offs. While I was holidaying the board offered me a new contract as mine was up at the end of the season...I accepted?? No I didn't I was on holiday, my contract was accepted on behalf of me by the game, this inst right it should of waited.

I know people will say "don't holiday" but I had done the hard work, i had got the play offs and couldn't get into automatic promotion so didnt see the danger in holidaying.
