Contract Negotiations/Carlos Tevez

Recommended Posts

A situation has come up while negotiating a contract which I don't know whether its a fault in the game or whether it's me that's missing something.

Carlos Tevez was approaching the end of his contract after 3 years of barely playing a game of Man City, I think he was transfer listed from the beginning of the game. When negotiating a contract with his agent to bring him to Chelsea on a free, his agent requested 110k pounds a week. There was no chance was I going to pay those wages nor would his agent entertain anything less.

He signs for Velez following a breakdown in discussions, turns out he accepted a contract worth barely 13k pounds a week. Granted it was an Argentinian side but it seems ridiculous that he wouldnt sign for Chelsea less than 110k

Anyone else have any similar situations in their game or can explain if i'm missing a particular detail? I vaguely recall similar situations with other players but this scenario is fresh in my mind.
