sirsomeone Posted December 19, 2011 Share Posted December 19, 2011 ...there don't seem to be any?! I can't search for sweepers, and no players are listed as being sweepers. I'm not even given the option of retraining players to play as sweepers. Yet the 'sweeper' formation is still listed as an option. Also, I can't see a way of selecting a club captain. Any ideas? We're looking to improve searching for sweepers at some point. I'll also put in a request to allow retraining as a sweeper. The reason there aren't very many listed (there are actually one or two, mostly in Brazil) is that so few teams play with a sweeper in real life that most researchers won't have been able to set an ability for that role, and that the ones that have been set play in that role so rarely that they can't be given a very high positional ability for it. In any case, a CB with decent technical attributes should usually be able to perform OK in the sweeper role even if he doesn't have any SW ability.
