Volunteer
Hi all, I installed the game via Steam and it worked normally. I installed Windows 7 just yesterday (had XP before) and am not really sure how to reinstall FM (which is installed on another partition, but won't work under new Windows, of course). Do I need to perform a full uninstall of Steam (as described in FAQ)?
GoDi
Obviously this aint too helpful now, but what u should have done is install both steam and fm to a different partition, that way u would have not needed to do any work, just start from steam.exe and it would have worked
Volunteer
If you read my post carefully, you'll see I did. I start the steam and it works, but the FM crashes.
Sikker
I am quite sure that no matter what you install in most cases there will be some files installed to the windows directory. Like registration files. So if you install a new operating system the installed registration files will be lost (and probably some needed .dll files as well. So yes, I am quite sure you'll need to reinstall Steam and other programs/games as well.
