iSohail Posted November 7, 2011 Share Posted November 7, 2011 Hello, I have been a big fan since FM08 and when steam was first introduced I stuck with installing it the old fashioned way and in this game you have to use Steam to install, it is extra memory wasted on Steam running in the background etc etc...with very little benefit to the consumer. We don't mind annoyances if they benefit us, after all its us paying the money. However this only benefits Sports Interactive. So can SI please go back to installing the old way for next years game? On PC Steam uses very little resources and it will not be noticeable, the same goes for the MAC version, whilst not as highly optimised as the PC version, it uses around the same resources as a typical webpage being open.
