_Chief_ Posted January 10, 2011 Share Posted January 10, 2011 A nice one for a change. Managing Bath City, its June 2016 and have won several promotions. I had started unemployed and spent almost a year and a half pushing continue until a team, I think Cambridge, around Jan/Feb in relegation zone accepted, played a few games, season ended and we were relegated, then came another team an hired me but sacked me shortly after the season started, I hadn't noticed they were also relegated, then came Bath City and my best career and game as a manager since I've played SI games. We are about to start our first season in Championship and I receive this, "Member of board acknowledges your service to the club. An influential board member has privately told you that they are ecstatic at how you've performed and that they consider they ' owe you one ' for all the hard work you've put into the club. They feel certain that any requests to the board will be viewed extremely favourably at present." This made my day, but as life has taught me, nothing ever comes free and I'll probably be sacked in the near future. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
