daformrobbie
I have read on a few websites that in your 2nd season a reserve league is automatically created?? is this true? or do i have to go in to the editor and make one? is that possible?? Many Thanks Robbie :-)
Brian Shanahan
As far as I know there is automatically a reserve league from the word go. But every season after the first you have a choice to accept/decline whether you will take part in the league. It is not like the real life one, as it is a geographical league with reserve teams of all divisions taking part.
Egon
The Premier Reserve League in game, recorded as Reserves Group 1 and Reserves Group 2, broadly reflects the old Reserve PL system which has been abandoned this season. 10 most northerly teams in group 1, 10 most southerly in group 2 (or possibly the other way round). If a PL team decides not to enter, their place is taken by a championship club. If you're managing Birmingham,Fulham, Stoke or Spurs then your reserves shouldn't be in it in the first season, as in real life they have not entered reserve teams into the league. See: http://www.premierleague.com/page/Headlines/0,,12306~2092258,00.html The only real difference between groups 1/2 in game and the old style reserve PL is the absence of a North v South final. Egon
As Brian says, from season 2 onwards, you will be offered the choice of whether to enter the reserve league or not
