New Player-Very poor morale + squad registration question

I just Signed Pienaar is the jan transfer window for Spurs. Nice contract, he was desperate to come here, etc, but his morale is very poor. When he arrived he had food poisoning, and was very tired, but a week later he is over that, i got his fitness up, yet still his morale is rock bottom? How is this so?

Also, why are teams who bought players in jan not registering them yet? Sunderland bought Bentley from me, yet two weeks later and they haven't bothered registering him for matches, even though squad registration is open during january. Steve Bruce is one thick plank!
