Does match confidence of a defeat ever score higher than "Fans slightly concerned"?

Recommended Posts

Basically what the title says. I was managing in English championship and in the carling cup lost to a premier league side in the penalty shootout. I know "slightly concerned" is already a vast improvement over last year's fickle reactions, but does it ever go higher than that?

The news item did say "the fact that they reach the quarter final of the carling cup is a great achievement", but shouldn't the match itself gain some praise? I mean we only lost to a much stronger opponent after a 3-3 thriller in 120 minute....I can say it's a proud defeat in the press conference, but is it possible for the fans to reckon a good defeat?

P.S. And they scored from a corner at 94:25 even though the stoppage time is three minutes. Oh well... :(
