Sweet-Zombie-Jesus
I played 3 seasons with Oxford and the highest amount of goals scored by one player in the Prem was 22 and that was Torres who scored it.But I'm now in january in my Liverpool save and the top goal scorer in the prem has scored 24 goals in 21 games. isuckatfm
Did you have the detail level in the Premiership set to none in your Oxford save? In my game I set all leagues I'm not in to no detail as full detail slows my laptop to a crawl and there is definitely a pattern of players scoring more in leagues I'm involved in (hence full detail level). From http://community.sigames.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/521102691/m/8932083393 with a few edits:- <BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">In the league I am in (full detail) it does appear to be an issue. I'm in the Championship and with most teams having played 36/37 matches the top ten goalscorers look like this (all strikers):- Appearances/Goals 1. 37/36 2. 37/33 3. 33/30 4. 36/30 5. 37/29 6. 30(5)/27 7. 37/26 8. 33/24 9. 37/24 10. 31/22 In the previous seasons when the league was on no detail level the Championship top scorers had these records:- 2007/2008: 39/27 DETAIL 'NONE' 2008/2009: 42/23 DETAIL 'NONE' 2009/2010: 45/26 DETAIL 'NONE' 2010/2011: 45/23 DETAIL 'NONE' 2011/2012: 42/24 DETAIL 'NONE' 2012/2013: 46/46 FULL DETAIL, MY TEAM IN LEAGUE 2013/2014: 35(9)/42 FULL DETAIL, MY TEAM IN LEAGUE Looking at those numbers it does look like an issue to me, particularly with the difference between the top scorers when I wasn't in the league (detail level noe) and the current list now I am in it (full detail). Real Life (http://www.football-league.premiumtv.co.uk/page/DivisionalScorers/0,,10794~20027,00.html):- 2002/2003: 25 2003/2004: 27 2004/2005: 24 2005/2006: 21 2006/2007: 23 2007/2008: 20 (after 40 to 42 matches) You can see the no detail statistics look more realistic than my current season where with 9/10 matches left the top six goalscorers have already surpassed the previous highest scorer in game of 27 (and the real life counterpart for the last 6 seasons of 27 also). Also to back this up further some more statistics:- In game Coca Cola League One Top scorer (year and goals):- 2007/2008: 24 DETAIL 'NONE' 2008/2009: 27 DETAIL 'NONE' 2009/2010: 24 DETAIL 'NONE' 2010/2011: 27 DETAIL 'NONE' 2011/2012: 38 FULL DETAIL, MY TEAM IN LEAGUE 2012/2013: 24 DETAIL 'NONE' 2013/2014: 27 DETAIL 'NONE' In game Coca Cola League 2 Top Scorer (year and goals):- 2007/2008: 25 DETAIL 'NONE' 2008/2009: 26 DETAIL 'NONE' 2009/2010: 25 DETAIL 'NONE' 2010/2011: 38 FULL DETAIL, MY TEAM IN LEAGUE 2011/2012: 24 DETAIL 'NONE' 2012/2013: 26 DETAIL 'NONE' 2013/2014: 26 DETAIL 'NONE' Blue Square Premier Top Scorer (year and goals):- 2007/2008: 27 DETAIL 'NONE' 2008/2009: 44 FULL DETAIL, MY TEAM IN LEAGUE 2009/2010: 43 FULL DETAIL, MY TEAM IN LEAGUE 2010/2011: 22 DETAIL 'NONE' 2011/2012: 24 DETAIL 'NONE' 2012/2013: 28 DETAIL 'NONE' 2013/2014: 25 DETAIL 'NONE' In all of those lists the numbers that jump beyond the norm is when I was managing in the league and the detail level was full. The pattern is pretty clear to me in that 'none' detail makes for more realistic statistics than 'full' detail (of course this could just be an anomaly of my game). </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
