Anything to save a corrupt game

Ok , I am running FM on a iMac and after leaving FM open for around 2 around after it was trying to save a game , I forced quit and restarted the iMac

Now when I try and load the game it says ' The save game could not be loaded '

Is there anything I can do to get it back ???

I am afraid that particular save is gone, unless you use rolling saves. If you do then there should be another earlier save.
