Changing of my players transfer status!

God this is annoying. I hate it how everytime you respond to transfer speculation it changes what you've set

I have a player who was transfer listed by request... i don't want to loan him out, i want 6M for him... and thats that. So why 2 months later when somebody claims their interested, does it then set his asking price from 6M to his value(3.4M) and put his availablility for loan to no status... which then leads to clubs making offers which i don't want! (all after i've set willing to let him go)
