aderow
A few weeks back I was playing some pre-season friendlies as chelsea. I got a very talented young left back (16 yrs old) so I decided to give him and a couple other backups/youngsters a start. Our next game was at home against barca and we won so I was glad. I went back and thought about it for a bit, it actually made me laugh a bit. You see messi and zlatan both started (Messi at AMR). That meant my 16 yr old left back, who had been at the club for 3 weeks, and was playing in his first game ever........would have to some how stop messi I wonder what his reaction would have been if it happened in real life? I think he'd probably wouldve refuse. He might even cry...... Sadly you never get reactions like this from players since its just a game. So what impossible tasks have you given your players and how did they do?
stevenmclean
with an injury ravaged squad I asked John Fleck (18 yo) to face up as a lone striker against Chelsea in the CL, he scored on rebound but was largely over powered by the two CB's.
stevenmclean
The CB's were Terry and Mexes.
djsanj
i would certainly cry if asked to defend against messi!
