Up_The_Terriers
Something I've never really understood is the relationship between a coach or scout's reputation and his attribute stats. So which is better: A world class or continental reputation staff member with lower attribute stats or a regional/ national reputation with attributes near 20? heathxxx
My preference is attributes and suitability for the role, over reputation, be it players or staff, every time.
Up_The_Terriers
Thanks. I'd always thought the same way.... And seeing that I usually play Huddersfield or random lower league teams the question has never really bothered me before now. However at the moment I'm in my 5th season with Huddersfield, back to back promotions got me to the Premiership and now in my nearing the end of my third season in the Prem, I'm in the quarter final of the Champions League (finished 4th in the Prem last season). the semi final of the FA cup for the 2nd season in a row and sitting 2nd with eight games to go. Needless to say I've been able to attract higher reputation staff to the club and noticed that a national reputation coach added an extra half star to the training regieme compared to a regional coach with the same attribute stats. This made me wonder how the relationship between reputation and attributes worked, especially since a couple of my coaches with regional reputations are coming to the end of their contracts.
