Rumoured that directors will take over the club

Just saw that my chairman at my brasilian serié c club, EC Espigão is looking to step down.

The rumours are that some of the directors within the club might take over. Thing is, there are no directors. Apart from the staff that i hired there's only me and the chairman.

Now, i realise that it's just rumours, and rumours are exactly what they are.......rumours.

However, i would like to think that they (whoever they are) would know that there aren't any directors at the club. Leading to the conclusion that those rumours shouldn't last to long, let alone be there to begin with.

It's the teams first season in serié c ever, according to their fm history. Surely there would've been some sort of a tiny spotlight on them for people and media to know that there aren't any directors?

Just curious to hear if there are any people with any views on this. Can't really say that i care too much about it myself, as it doesn't really make a difference for me. I'm just curious about it

Now i've even received a name on the director, but he's not at my club. That's for sure
