dunstablesucks
My modem went kaput yesterday so I'm currently waiting for a new one to be sent out. But I still need my FM fix over the next few days so I tried to change my steam settings to "offline" but whenever I start steam all I get is the updating box which of course just sits there doing nothing as I currently have no internet. Does anyone know a way to open steam and change the settings to get around this? Ta.
MoMan10
let it sit there for at least 10-15 minutes. I had this problem. It will say that it cannot connect to the internet and then it can give u the option to work offline.
Tim_Cdy
Can you turn Steam offline via the systray?

Boris Dollar
my version of Steam seems to have sorted itself out. I neither need to be online or offline now to load FM; nor do i need to select to "go offline". I noticed this the other day when i forgot to select "go offline" before a long train journey north. It just loaded. Lovely stuff.
