uusinjsh
I've seen quite a lot of threads about problems with managing U21 teams, but I usually ignored them, because I had faced no problems at all during many years as Scotland U21 manager. But now one particular detail is getting annoying. If, for example, manager of Hearts or Aberdeen doesn't like you, he can withdraw his player from a friendly, that's quite normal. Last time I had a friendly two players were withdrawn, I had no big problems to replace them as I have all Scottish leagues loaded, so a lot of players to choose from. But this time it's last friendly before U21 championship and 13 players are withdrawn.. Because managers of Hearts, Aberdeen, Rangers (ok, that's kinda realistic), Dundee, Dundee Utd etc. hate me..! Whooot.. Ok, friendly outcome doesn't matteru, u'd say. But I want to test what my current squad is capable of..! Not to mention the time I will spend replacing withdrawn players and then recalling them back again.. ..anyone else faced this!?
