help needed.....

sorry if this isin the wrong place, as i've never used this before.

when playing in the northern ireland league every time i get to the all ireland cup the game seem's to stop working, i can open the tactics and stuff but it won't let me proceed to the match.i'm up to october 3 in my first season.

any help would be appreciated

are you getting any specific errors, or will it just not continue?

it just won't continue, had same problem yesterday morning,and i ended up having to uninstall the game and doa full reinstall, thinking it was due to the fact that i had done abasic install of the game. all patches are done

there isnt another news item you have to respond to, is there?

i just installed the game and played it, everything has been answered. it goes to team selection, i select the team and then click match and there's just no responce. as i said it let's me go to the different tactics and inbox screens,it just won't proceed to the match.

i.ve tried saving just before it,quiting the game and rebooting the system. but no joy.

you havent edited the database? its just the one that came with the game?

and it only does this with the all ireland cup? you can play other matches without problems??

i haven't tried any other game, just got it yesterday.

There arent any specific rules regarding squad selection for that competition are there?

Something like amount of home-grown players, or similar? That could stop it continuing, if your selected squad isnt valid.

try going on holiday past that date, and see what happens.

If you cant holiday, then theres a problem with the game, if you can, then i would guess its something to do with squad selection.
