Finknottle
At present, at the start of a save, the Assistant Manager will offer his advice on what he thinks are your teams best formations. These vary from one to three or maybe four formations. If you then change your Assistant Manager, on joining your new club, the new Assistant Manager is unable able to offer his advice on your teams best formations/s. Assuming that you only change to an Assistant Manager with higher attributes than the previous one, then it is possible that the new man's advice will be more reliable than his predecessor's. Would it be a game improvement to allow the new Assistant Manager to have his advice available within the game? Does anyone agree or nor agree with my thoughts? Does anyone care? Kind regards. rinso
The new man's advice WILL become available, but only when he has sufficient knowledge of your club and its players. He can't just walk through the door and tell you what he thinks, he needs time to get to know the set-up

rinso
no worries! with the new guy in, youlll find some other stuff probably isnt available too, like getting him to set up opposition instructions, for example, but again, as he gets to know your club, and others, they become available... perpatov
The opposition instructions thing baffles me. Surely his knowledge of what to do against the opposition isn't based on his knowledge of your current players, but of their players.
rinso
I suppose its because he needs sufficient knowledge of what your players can do effectively...?? I don't know really...
