aadam Posted November 12, 2009 Share Posted November 12, 2009 Despite having an old computer (my video card is not supported), I've been playing the demo without having any problem. So I bought the game today and of course I got an application error in the first game after opening a player profile from the tactics screen and pressing on the back arrow. The error message was like "a serious problem encountered and the application will shut down, a crash dump has been created in documents/...". Demo ran perfectly. The full version does not. Now someone please explain this to me. I installed the game via Steam, could this be a problem related to it? Or is it because of the patch? Or the bigger database size? trekman Posted November 12, 2009 Share Posted November 12, 2009 Did you download and attempt to install the patch yourself? If so this might be the problem especially if your using steam as steam users do not need to manually download any patches since its all done automatically. You might have to unstall then reinstall.
