Old Teams

Im sure that this problem has been brought up many times before, but (in 09) im finding that, 8 years down the line, the larger teams are getting easier to play against. Im playing as FC Basel, and have increased their standard quite significantly, but still im nowhere near as good as the big champions league teams. Suddenly though, ive beaten liverpool 4-0, man united 3-1 (on aggregate from 2 legs) and lazio 5-3 (aggregate). Once id taken a closer look at their teams they all have one thing in common, most of them need walking sticks, the average age of all of them must be over 30, which suggests that theyve left their prime and its not such an achievment that ive beaten them (their attributes are amazing though, even physical)

It seems to me that as time goes on the game prefers to keep players for a long time and let them get old

Will the competition ever return to normal? and should it feel like "cheating" to be destroying these teams using a team whose average age is around 23? and lastly, has this been fixed for 2010? (i wont want to play it for a long time and find out the same thing happens)

yes mate it been fixed in 2010 that was a know problem in 2009 teams not buyin younger players

hmm thanks, sounds like the only way it will get better is if i wrap up my 09 game and move onto 10
