The settings file was corrupted so these needed deleting and then re-run the game and it will re-write the settings file..... therealbbe Posted October 30, 2009 Author Share Posted October 30, 2009 Start-my computer-local disk©-documents and settings-your user file (mine is stephen, if you not sure it maybe the make of your laptop or computer-application data-sports interactive-football manager 2010-now delete the settings folder (just leaving cache log and temporary).......now restart the game and it will re-write the settings folder correctly......if you have problems my other advise would be to phone help line in manual and say 'i try and play a game and get xml parsing error so i need to delete the settings file' and they will talk you thro it ..... Type "dxdiag" in the text box and press return. There is a tab for graphics there which will tell you what card you have. If you want you can click 'save all information' once the program has finished scanning and copy/paste the text here, then we can let you know what you have and how to update it. I pre-ordered the game before this problem happened and i'm scared to try the full FM10 in case the same happens, because you can't return it. What should i do and is this a know problem?
