In terms of managing the balance then yes the financial side is an important one and having a good balance is always good. Yes you are givien a budget but unlike previous versions of FM, there is a new slider bar. This gives you more control of your budget, e.g. previously you had say add £5m, £10m, £20m, and £50m and you could increase this to your transfer budget and your wage budget would then be reduced accordingly. Now with the new slider you can increase your transfer budget by what you want as long as you have the funds. The same appplies to the wage budget.
