Feddemaster
In order for this to work you will have to have a custom firmware. (1.50 cant't run FMH2008). You can just put the "fmchanger" folder in X:/PSP/GAME where X is your removable drive letter.

B_Barnes_94
Where is recovery...?
chuzcredit
B_Barnes- To install, copy both the folders (fmchanger and fmchanger%) to either GAME or GAME150. Kernel shouldn't matter- I have tested it on either kernel in either folder on 3.71 M33-4 and it works fine with any configuration. Your error sounds like you don't have the 1.50 subset installed, which reminds me this probably won't work on slims... If you have an original PSP, either download and install the 1.50 addon or tell us your firmware to see if we can diagnose anything else

Mightyowl28
just downloaded... will try later, and report back, once i've dug out the old fat homebrew-enabled PSP.. (in theory, this could be ground breaking stuff, perhaps something SI could work into FMH09 somehow?) well done chuzcredit
Mightyowl28
although, before using it im a little confused. do we still call the changes.txt as so and do they still go in the COMMON folder? surely we cant have more than one changes.txt in the folder?
Feddemaster
It's not required for every PSP that you install both folders... @MightyOwl: It uses 2 folders: FMH2008 and FMH2008b. What the program does rename the folders into each other. (FMH2008 becomes FMH2008b and vice versa.) It is coded in LUA so it won't be easy to implement in FMH. But there's a function in C: sceIoRename or something like that. This function does almost the same. (hint hint )
chuzcredit
I've tried to convert it for slim. If anyone could have a play with it and tell me if it works, that'd be great. You'll probably have to change folders/kernel until you have the right config. I don't have a slim to test on Slim Test
Feddemaster
Maybe you could make it a PRX? So you could swap changes.txt by just pressing a button in the XMB...
B_Barnes_94
I am version 3.80...? Does that mean it wont work or not...? Great download though well done
Mightyowl28
you need to have custom firmware for this to work. Barnes, if you were on custom firmware, under system settings your psp would be at '3.80 m33'. Its very risky if you dont know what your doing, trying to get to Custom firmware from the firmware your psp is currently at.
B_Barnes_94
Can it still be done...? And whats the worst thing you reckon that would go wrong if it mucked up...? Cheers for all the help
jamesWHUFC
Yes you can downgrade using pandoras battery. Which you can make that using a 'phat' psp battery. The worst thing that can happen is you brick your psp and it wont turn on. But bricked psp's can now be fixed using pandoras battery too.
B_Barnes_94
How do i get this thing "Pandoras Battery"...?
jamesWHUFC
I cant hold your hand through this ;-) Google is your friend. Search for: Pandoras Battery M33 firmware (latest is 3.80M33)

No disrespect intended at all here, but if your as clueless as you make out on the subject theres always a very slight chance you can damage your PSP, the risk may not be worth taking. (@SI forum crew: If it is just remove it!) However I want to tell you that it's totally your own risk. But nowadays there's not much that can go wrong because the worst that can happen is bricking your psp and you can now undo that using Pandora also so. This is for the old/fat PSP only!!! Hope this helps.
