Highbury\'s Ghost Posted July 16, 2009 Share Posted July 16, 2009 As a test, share C: on one laptop, and then try and map to it from another - this will show that windows is fully happy (as much as it matters for this) with the "faux network" you have created. If you know your IP, assign addresses individually, then use DOS. OR if you don't mind spending a few quid, buy a router - even a wireless setup for this will cost you a few beers on ebay or similar(make sure you get the cable included, or you can end up paying nearly the same again for that - if you aren't connecting wirelessly, obviously). pufcboro Posted July 16, 2009 Author Share Posted July 16, 2009 cheers i have now connected the laptops up my computer name etc is coming up but light grey and we cant connect do we have to have the same versions of the game were both on football manager 09 but i have 9.3 he's on 9.0?
