past caring Posted May 11, 2009 Share Posted May 11, 2009 Just bought FM '09 (I was without a PC for a good while and it was pointless buying the game) and was wondering if there's any version of patch 9.3.0 available without the data update? Or (as I note that the 9.3.0 changelist thread says nothing about having to start a new game for the fixes to take effect - only for the new data to take effect) can I just get round the problem of not wanting to be tied in to the January transfers by loading the game, picking my team etc, immediately saving, installing the patch and then continuing with my save game?
