Windowed Mode Still Wont Work

i have tried everything and when i did it 2 weeks ago it worked but then i changed back to normal it is now greyed out :thdn::mad:

1. Right click on the FM09 icon on your desktop & select 'properties'.

2. In the target field, add "-windowed -small_screen" at the end of the target, with a space between the target & "-windowed -small_screen" & obviously no quotation marks.

3. Click 'ok'.

4. Double-click the Football Manager 2009 shortcut on your desktop & it should open up in a window.

Note: You MUST do this with a desktop shortcut & NOT with fm.exe. Otherwise, it won't work.

yes i oepn my game with steam will that make a difference?

Can you copy and paste what you put into the target field up here so I can have a look at it.

"C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -small_screen -windowed

You need to add the bit I said to the end of your FM09 shortcut target field, not the steam shortcut. And it's -windowed -small_screen that you put at the end.

If you don't have a FM09 shortcut on your desktop, navigate to C:\progam files\steam\steamapps\common\football manager 2009, right-click FM.exe and then send to... desktop.

i have added it to my FM09 shortcut :S
