His contract is up in 6 months, but I can't approach him to sign a pre-contract, and nor can I have a conversation with him to reassure him I want to sign him once his City deal is finished. Meanwhile, Juventus and Dortmund have swooped in to offer a contract, and I'm totally unable to convince him to stay with me next year. Could we add that option?
