Do opposite instructions override manual ticked sliders?

I noticed that when you alter the defensive line (slider) manually , the shout <push defensive line higher> will not override that setting.

Does the same apply concerning opposite instructions?

Let's say, my CB has tight marking yes. I manually untick this field so it becomes no.

Now when I use opposite instructions for a match and I click tight marking yes for a striker. Will that override my initial unticked setting from match tactics?

(problem is, I dont want my CB's to tightmark any player, only a high jumping, high heading value striker)
