I'm coming up on my first offseason, which means that the youth intake date is fast approaching. I'm playing as Dover Athletic, a small club with basic facilities and recruitment, so my current squad of U18s is quite poor.
My question is this: is each season's youth intake a set number, or does it just fill your U18 squad to 18? I'd be inclined to release nearly all of my youngsters, but there are a handful I would keep around if I am only going to get 10-12 new players.
