Hello. I am currently playing with a 442 with the aim to transition the CM (red circle) to the AMC spot and the LB moving in the CM spot.
I've tried I few roles but none of them seem to be able to pick the spot I would like them to (blue). I know the mez isnt going to achieve this but the role seems more effective whilst I find the solution. Any ideas?

Not sure if its a bug or just my team but conceding from corners seems to be happening a lot.
11 goals conceded from corners in 19 games.

What is the most effective way to stop conceding goals from long balls? I'm currently playing mid block and a lower line of defense so unsure why long balls seems to be that effective against me. Using a mix of 433 and 4231 depending on opponent.

This usually secures the win and - very often - results in another goal for us.
If you're really under the cosh, 'play for set-pieces' can waste quite a bit of time.

HI Guys,
I've set up a tactic which I'm quite happy with. Its a 4-2-3-1, High DL & LoE, pressing more often. It got me promoted in the championship (through play offs). However, one major flaw is I concede nearly all my goals in the last 10/15 mins of the game. I would have most likely got auto promotion if this wasn't the case.
Any tips on how to see the games out. I've tried dropping the lines and closing down but still seems to suffer from these late goals. I've got no chance of staying up in the prem if this continues. Any tips?
EDIT: Just went through my games in the championship. I conceded a goal in 28 game, in 19 of those 28 games I conceded in the last 10 mins.
This season in the prem. 4 games played. Beat by Man Utd. 3 others games I was leading and conceded in the last 15 mins and drew them all.

Ok, this is going to sound vague but does anyone else find there seems to be a lack of supply to full backs/wing backs. Using a similar tactic to FM17 where passes to these positions in attacking areas would be common but in this version wingers/striker will often overlook the fullback when they would be the better passing/crossing option.
Just wondering if anyone else has found this or maybe its just my team/tactic.

Not sure if a bug but only a week into my game and 3 of my staff have already been poached by other teams. Whilst this is plausible it seems quite out of the ordinary. Never experienced this on other FM's.

Quick question regarding Scouting.
Playing as M'boro and I've upgraded my scouting package to Europe - Upper Tier but when I click on a player from a European club in the player search list I want to scout, it say's "Outside Scouting Scope" and costs x amount to scout. Is this correct?
Does upgrading you scouting package just give you the ability the view these players?

In all my games on FM23 I never had a GK get injured during a game, or maybe it happened once. In FM24 I've had it happen twice in the space of 7 games. I think this is probably a bug? No?
