  1. Yep.

    I have tried pretty much everything. I even set this one up like how SI set up the 2020 Ykkönen (apart from the fact that this is a league format and that uses a cup format). It verifies in the editor, but crashes in game.

    I have had an experienced advanced editor user look at this file and they cannot see anything wrong with it, so I am beginning to wonder if this is perhaps a bug either in game or in the editor.

    I've attached the two most recent attempts at this if anybody wants to take a look?

  2. I can't explain whether it's the fact that one stage happens after another, or if it's entirely dependent on seeing that 0 for lowest ranking. I just know that it works. 

    My assumption is that it's lowest ranking that matters.

    In stage 0, highest ranking was set to 0 and lowest ranking was set to 5 for all teams in 1st to 6th place. That is telling the game that those teams can still finish anywhere between 1st and 6th in the final rankings if they finish that stage in those positions. 

    In stage 2, everything is set to the same as the current position, so the game is being told that they cannot finish any higher or lower than their current positions. 

  3. I have a league with 10 teams. The 10th placed team is relegated, while the teams in 8th and 9th enter a league format relegation playoff with two teams from the division below.

    The division below is split into two groups. The top two teams from each group enter a league format championship playoff. The champion is automatically promoted. The teams finishing 2nd and 3rd in the championship playoff enter a promotion playoff with the two teams in the relegation playoff in the division above.

    Two additional clubs can be relegated via that relegation/promotion playoff. If both top division sides finish in the top two spots, there will be no relegation.

    I have tried jiggling this every which way but, no matter what I do, the editor says that the promoted and relegated teams do not match up.

    The only way I have been able to work around this is by changing the league fate actions to set the league fate for the champions to 'Promoted' instead of 'Champions'. The editor then verifies the editor data, but the game crashes whenever the promotion/relegation playoff takes place.

    So is this setup impossible, or is there something I am overlooking?

    This is what ive done so far. I was doing most of your step 1 last night i didnt know it made a bottom half of the split i think i only made one

     

    The ranking levels one is interesting ill have a look. But whne i test the comp in the editor its always taking Continental spots after stage 0 no matter what i do. Perhaps ranking levels will work

     

    Ranking levels definitely works. I just tested it using the file you uploaded to make sure it was all that was needed. See the attached file. I only did the most basic steps, so more work will need to be done to this.

  6. You can do this one of two ways.

    1. Remove the championship playoff. Change the league to a league with split. Convert to advanced rules and remove the stage created for the bottom half of the split. Apply the necessary fixes so that there is no trace of the second half.

    You could also stick with the championship playoff before converting to advanced rules. When you convert to advanced rules, you will want to make the champions playoff a hidden stage that processes the results into the league stage. This will be done for you if you change the league to a league with a split. It's up to you which method you find easier.

    2. Convert to advanced rules and set ranking levels.

    This one would require the least amount of work.

    FYI, there is a bug in the editor involving cups when you convert to advanced rules. Any rounds you have taking place in a neutral, specific or national stadium will be changed to a home stadium. You have to go to 'Fixture Dates' under 'Fixture Times and Rules' to correct this.
     

  7. I have a list of players set up under 'Set Piece Takers' in the tactics.

    Whenever I substitute my player who was initially taking the corners (let's say it's my DL) and a player in another position is assigned to be the new corner taker (let's say it's my MR), the player who has just been subbed on is unable to be moved to a new role for the routine and will remain in the position where the DL happened to be placed on the pitch in the original setup. The game still seems to think that they are assigned to be the corner taker as the two letters say 'TK'. However, the DL is not semi-transparent on the corner tactics screen.

    The only solution to this problem is to drag the DL onto the MR, making the DL the corner taker again, then dragging the MR back on to the DL. This allows the MR to take the corner and the DL can then be moved to whatever role you want them to fulfill during corner routines.
