  1. one more thing, i have noticed that when your team has a poor percentage of successful passes you can try lowering the tempo, in that way they are not in a hurry to pass around so fewer mistakes are made( i thing in v3 you have that by default). It helped me against teams that have strong DMs that tackle a lot and press you until you make a mistake or they steal the ball (that damn de rossi is real trouble)...

  2. one thing i do not understand is why you choose small pitch. You utilize your wingers (down both flanks) and ask them to go wide (width bar set a lot to the right). So, the pitch should be set to large-wide not small. I understand it is easier to defend when pitch is set to small (especially against teams with AML AMR) but your pitch choice i believe does not match your tactic settings offensively. Anyway i always choose large pitch when playing with wingers. Your tactics work just great. As for the new tactic i have tested it with my Liverpool team for almost a season. All versions are actually great. What i have seen with my tests (testing with Liverpool v1 v2 and v4 for long period and v3 only for half season) i believe v4 is the best all-around and should be chosen with small-medium clubs and v1 though leaking more goals is great attacking tactic. For my (strong) Liverpool team i have enjoyed more v1, the team plays really good (helps a lot with fast CBs). I havent tested with lower teams so maybe all i am saying is only good teams.

Thanks for the great tactics and keep up the good work...

  3. i have tested both v1 and v2 with liverpool. Played most of season 1 with v1 and changed to v2 for the second season. V2 seems better defensively but overall i prefer v1 as i score more and my strong squad is up to the challenge. V2 can prove bad if you have a strong team and the opponent is trying to play very defensively. You wont lose but cant score either. In general i would suggest v1 for a medium-strong team and v2 for weaker teams. All in my opinion of course.... I haven't tested them with a weaker team.

  4. i am currently trying the second version of the tactic with my liverpool team. I keep winning and it looks pretty better. One thing that worries me is the low possession i have in most games. Still winning so i cannot complain. Anyway having both torres and vagner love as strikers i decided to have them swap positions (i didnt know who to put left and who on the right). It seems to work nice. One thing i noticed is that i am great against strong teams ( arsenal, manchester, chelsea) but i do have some trouble against teams that choose to keep 11 players inside their area. I play great but cant break the defense. Goals only come from corners, fouls. In general this is great tactic.

  5. would you guys recommend this tactic for a world class team like manchester united or real madrid ? it looks pretty defensive so maybe a team with great players cannot reach full potential. I know it works fine with teams like man city, aston villa and is great for first season for liverpool (liverpool cannot get top players in first season due to lack of funds and has mediocre players in some positions) as i tried. But what with some of the best players coming to your team? Any suggestions? I am thinking of taking real madrid and i am looking for a good lots-of-goals tactic...

  6. draw against stoke away in a game i dominated but couldnt score and 1-0 victory at home against arsenal in a strange game with lots of shots from both teams and an own goal at the end. Man utd and Chelsea are amazing with too many goals while arsenal totenham and man city draw most games. does not look possible to win the league first season unless you are man utd or chelsea. they dont seem to lose....
