just for clarification I have just loaded up my beta save and the screenshot shows what I mean

In answer to all your questions - I have selected those options from the responsibility menu AND I do have the match preview session.

 

I remember in the beta mode of handling the tactical brief before a match and not getting a good response. Once I left it to the assistant he would come up with solutions like "we are fitter than them so lets play at a higher tempo" and "donnarumma to take short kicks to the defenders" etc...

I am just not getting that type of briefing anymore. Does that make sense?

Evening all,

In the beta mode I was able to receive the pre-match tactical brief from my assistant manager. When I took control of it I always had issues with it (like others previously did) but I always found it interesting to hear what he had to say.

Now that I have started a new game I no longer get those briefings despite me having "match preview" in one of my training slots which I believe is a pre-requisite to having the brief.

I have tried searching in the FM manual, forums and online but to no avail.

Can anyone help? 

[Strengthen First Team Squad Promise]

I had the same issue with AC Milan.

De Sciglio signed a new contract with the promise that I'd strengthen the attack.

I then paid top dollar for Andrea Belotti and he's now upset as he thinks I haven't kept the promise of strengthening the squad.

Does anyone know what the criteria is to "strengthen the squad" ?

I can't seem to be able to save the routines I make for corners or free kicks.

When I click save and then check if it has, by seeing if I can load it, it doesn't appear in the  set piece folder.

Is this normal ?
