I have this same problem on a windows 10 laptop; how do I do this on windows?

Hey all, I have an Acer Aspire V3-371-558L; 6GB RAM and intel graphics card - which I have recently updated so driver is present and correct, and only whilst playing FM21, 3 times over the weekend has the whole laptop shut off completely - fan is noisy; but is clean (I took it out and gave it a thorough brushing); not sure what to do, i've increased my CPU to use 4 cores (after a google as it did reach 100% when loading up and during a match); more RAM on order to make it 8GB which I wanted to do anyway.

 

What can/should I do??

 

I'm starting a new game with just 2 leagues rather than the 4 I had to see if this makes any difference, graphics are on lowest...

I also seem to have an overheating and shutting down issue - what benefit does turning off the windows game mode/game bar have?
