[Unable to Scout (FM22 Touch Switch)]

Currently doing a save with Dagenham and Redbridge on FM22, Switch version.  I'm unable to scout individual players - any ideas why this might be happening?  

I have tried removing my scouts assignments, changing the assignments from Manager to Scout responsibility but still unable to scout individual players,  

I'm in my third season and have been able to scout players for the first two but now can't - is it to do with budget? (£500k in the bank) or scout too busy?

Still facing this issue. Currently in 2040 on my save and have had to stop playing as there aren’t enough players available. 
 

so disappointed with this years version, it’s not worked properly since the day it was released. Such a waste of money. I’ve bought every version of touch on the iPad and have been playing ‘FM’ since CM96/97 - not sure I’ll both buying the next release.

I’m also facing this issue since the last update. 
 

I’ve had almost versions of touch on the iPad since it became available and this is by far the worst for bugs.

Hi, I’m still facing this issue even after the update. 
 

im managing in Scotland with the English and Welsh leagues also loaded. Barely any new players come through around the world, only in the loaded leagues. 

[Training/Youth Facilities Upgrade]

I’m having the similar - into 2031, loads of money in the bank and a 4.5 reputation. Training facilities are currently ‘good’ and were downgraded a few seasons ago. Despite multiple requests, the board just won’t upgrade.

Fair enough. You can try continuing your save as the new patch is compatible with save games. You should see a more balanced generation of newgens going forward as per the patch notes.

Haven't had a long term FMT save on PC yet but I'll be interested to see if this is just an issue with this year's game as a whole (even the full fat game had a problem with newgen numbers prior to the patch) or whether the new patch has rectified this.

No, i don't remember facing these issues on previous versions.  There were always plenty of players coming through all over the world.

Agree with all the comments here - having owned the FM Touch on the iPad since the first version I was disappointed to see the removal of so many clauses.

This sounds like a similar issue to what I am facing.

 

I am currently playing a Dorking Wanderers save on the iPad with England, Scotland and USA leagues loaded.  I'm in 2031 and it's almost impossible to find suitable quality players as the newgens are only coming from England, Scotland or the USA.  A lot of the players playing for other nations are generated through the youth teams of the loaded leagues and almost all international footballers are now half English, Scottish or American :-)

 

Really frustrating and I've now stopped playing a save that I was enjoying.

 

There have been to many issues with this version of FM Touch, fortunately most seem to have been resolved now but I can't remember a version with so many.
