  1. I've been using the pre-game editor to make some recent staff changes and manager movements, I.e Joey Barton to Bristol Rovers, Darren Moore to Sheff Wed and Nigel Pearson to Bristol City etc as an example.

I save the changes and start a new game but only Nigel Pearson appears at Bristol City. The other manager changes don't appear and these clubs remain vacant. Same with some staff changes, I.e Gary Roberts changed from a player to non-player and transferred to Ipswich Town as a first team coach but when I load the game he's a first team coach still at Accrington. Darren Moore appears at Sheff Wed but only as Assistant Manager.

Some staff/manager changes appear to work fine, but others just not showing in-game.

    Any ideas SI?

    Thanks

  3. Firstly, not sure if this is the right place to post or this topic has already been covered elsewhere (so apologies in advance if it has) but I have just changed some recent managers movements in the pre-game editor, I.e Joey Barton at Bristol Rovers and Nigel Pearson at Bristol City for example, but when I load a new game Barton is still unemployed with the Bristol Rovers position still vacant, but Pearson is at Bristol City - so it seems some changes appear but others I make don't.

Any ideas where I'm going wrong?

PSG & Spurs just accepted what i genuinely assumed would be cheeky first offers before nudging the price up in 10-20m increments.

Mbappe came in at £180m and Alli was 120m. I fully expected Mbappe to be closer to the 300m mark, possibly higher as a sign of their intention to keep him. Alli is probably right, just surprised they didnt push for more.
So instead of an either-or situation, its both and theres still room to get a deal on Dier. Bonkers.

I immediately got an bid back from PSG too - £105m + 46m/3yr for Pogba. I dont really see the benefit of selling him, so wont be.

Everyone seems eager to sell Sanchez, is that because of the wage, not performing well, age, 2nd/3rd choice LW... all the above?? Just wondering, cos if i got a decent offer i'd sell him (3rd summer) mainly because of his age and last chance to get good money for him, but he was good in the first season and brilliant in the 2nd. I was eager to offload him for IRL reasons (Pogba too!) but its kinda hard to justify when he was probably my best player last season. Who would/did you replace him with?

Mbappe cost me £170m but definitely well worth it.

Sanchez is OK but from the 3rd season onwards there are far better left wing options available and I find he does become hampered by niggling injuries. I alternate between Martial, Rashford and Justin Kluivert at the moment.

  5. I have to agree that this tactic is very good. I won npower league 1 with Colchester United in the first season quite comfortably even though I had a poor run of results towards the end. Probably due the players struggling with match fitness due to a gruelling season. At home this tactic seems very strong but I did come unstuck against weaker opposition when playing away but I guess this is all part of the game.

Just need to find a training schedule that will help keep my players fit.

    Brandy is a legend!

  6. Mr Hough - I have to say this is by far the best tactic I have ever used. I have just walked through League One with my Colchester United side and now have won the Championship in my first season - quite convincingly I might add. I have found the 3 forwards to equally score goals and most games played I managed to win by 2 or more goals.

My team that just won the championship -

    GK - Ben Williams

    DR - Petra Petras

DL - Marc Tierney (Paul Dixon arriving shortly)

    DC - Franco Peppino

    DC - Kamil Glik

DMC - Sehad Mahamha (Loan from Man City)

MC - Fran Merida (Loan from Arsenal)

MC - Jack Cork (Loan from Chelsea)

    SC - Federico Nieto

    SC - Franco Mendoza

    SC - Sean Scannell

I also got Kayode Odedayi on the bench who scored loads and Fred Sears on loan from West Ham who scored over 20 + aswell.

Roll on the premiership - I need to strengthen me thinks!

  7. Hey Tyler

I share the same view as most people on this forum, your V6 tactic is superb at home but away I'm lucky to beat lesser quality teams 1-0 and I'm often drawing or losing to teams I should really be beating.

I'm in my 3rd season with Man City and finished 4th spot in the first two seasons and probably going to end up 4th again in the 3rd season. However, did win the F.A Cup last season which was good.

    My team:-

    GK Akinfeev/Asenjo

    DR J.Boateng

    DL Bridge/J.Mathieu

    DC Richards/Sakho

    DC Zapater/Fazio

    ML Zhirkov/Modric

    MR SWP/Srna

    MC Hernanes/Camacho/Johnson

    MC Palombo

    FC Aguero

    FC Milevskyi/V.Love/Laurito
