So I posted this about a week ago and have had no replies or acknowledgement. Public status is "open", whatever that means. Presumably you have a "To do" list, with some sort of prioritisation operating, do you? Is this on it anywhere? Do you agree that a change is merited, or not? I imagine that this would not be too difficult to fix.

OK. I think things like this might need thinking about because he is playing in goal - I am not playing him at left back, or anywhere else. I don't think there would be an issue in real life. Just as I had another unhappy manager complaining that a midfielder was playing ten yards further forward than expected as a ball-winning player. In reality, managers want the player playing first and foremost. Whether he is sitting in a defensive or central midfield slot is really a secondary consideration - it is the playing experience that is important. If a loanee is not getting matches when he has been sent with the expectation of regular starts, or if he is being played completely out of position then I could understand it.

No, I don't think I was (90% sure anyway). Just GK De because you can see his star rating is slightly higher for that role at that time. Plus I defend close to the penalty area, in any case. He has only missed a couple of games all season and needs just one more clean sheet to set a league record. (see first screenshot) I had another phone call from an irate Malky Mackay about it and it is now showing as a "Failed" promise on that specific page (see second screenshot).

In the " Monthly Board Performance Review" when you get an "A" "Untouchable" rating it says . . .
"To summarise, the board feel you are doing an unbelievable job and you are clearly the right manager for the job."
Nothing wrong except you have used the word "job" twice in the same sentence. Better is . . .
"To summarise, the board feel you are doing an unbelievable job and you are clearly the right manager for our club."

The 3rd Round Draw appeared OK in my latest game. I am now wondering if I just missed it on the occasion I have reported to you. The button for the draw is tucked right in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen and it is very small.

Once opened click 'Select Files' and navigate to the Sports Interactive folder in 'Documents', then 'Football Manager 2023', then 'Games', then select the file you wish to upload.
Once uploaded, please tell us the name of the file.
OK. So once that black bar below "Anonymous upload" fills up then that means the file is completely transferred to you and the process is complete, does it? Thanks for helping me with this.

OK sorry. I keep putting things in the wrong place as I am not sure if they are bugs or not. Maybe there should be a separate tally for offsides and fouls in the Match Stats report? That way players would know if their attackers might need to be trained on beating the offside trap, or if individual/team tackling settings needed to be looked at.

Right, so if I press the PrtScr button on my computer it sends the screenshot to My Pictures. And I have found a Sports Interactive folder in Documents and saved games are in the "games" file. So, in future, if I see something like this I should immediately save the game so I have a record of it. Then I have to send it to you using the SI Cloud Service? This is confusing me because at the bottom of this post I am writing now there is a "choose files" option as well. Is this the SI Cloud Service too? It says Max total size is 9.77 MB, while by save game file for my last save this morning is 139,833 KB. I don't know which is bigger KB or MB?

I am sorry but I don't know how to do even basic things like this at the moment. I will read your guidance to see if I can do it in future. I don't even know how to take a screenshot, or where it goes on my computer. I am nearly 70 years old and have never been much good with computers. I buy my games from Steam who do most of the basic technical stuff (updating etc) for me. Hopefully, just reporting what I am seeing alerts you to an issue and it might even prompt someone else to report it as well.
It happened at the beginning of the second season of my St Albans game, so near the beginning of the 23/24 season. In a previous game as Sheffield Wednesday, I had a player on loan for the entirety of the first season. Man City refused the loan for the second season, but I was then able to get him again for the 24/25 season. Again he was treated as a completely new player to the club.

No, sorry. It was a while ago. My computer skills are also "slightly unhappy", to say the least. I have noticed it more than once though. The 2nd Round and 4th Round draws appeared as usual.

Ok thanks. I think the issue is that some of these screens will appear many times in the course of a season and the more ungainly phrases start to stand out and irritate pedants like myself. lol
A couple more for you from match commentaries. Players are sometimes described as "using their head to clear a ball", which makes the players' head sound like some sort of implement that he was carrying about with him. Just use "headed away by . . ." instead. And then you get situations where a player has gone on a superb, mazy run but then lashes the shot way over the bar. The commentary will say "Great play until the finish", or something similar. Just say great effort by so-and-so, exclamation mark". Just keep it short and snappy.

OK. I don't have one myself currently because I couldn't make out what was actually happening over a number of screens when I had achieved a play off spot last time. I am in the running for the play offs again this season, so if it happens this time I will save the game and send it to you. I have no idea at all about how computer games are constructed, but I would have thought something like this, which presumably happens to everyone reaching the play-offs in the Vanarama National League, would be easy for you to identify. It is not just specific to my game, is it? Not sure what happens in the Vanarama North and South and whether it is an issue there as well.
