Thanks for the answer. I suppose its the same situation about editing manager stats?
This looks, from my ignorance, easier to implement, albeit I am probably wrong.

Send the young players with potential to improve on loan to other teams. The reserve system in England and Spain rewards players the same way despite the Spanish one's playing in a senior league. The players hardly improve cos they complain of not playing even when they play 50+ games for the reserve team.
You can stock up your reserve team with aged players on a free contract like Musacchio, Arias, Labyad, Ghoulam, Gnagnon, Radoja e.t.c. to avoid your reserve team getting relegated.
Thanks for the info. Not gonna lie, that's a major oversight from the developers part.

Are Spanish reserve (B) teams broken? Players never seem to improve even when they play in second division.

I apologise for the negativity.
But 11 euros for an editor that can't edit (or even see!) basic things like:
- mental attributes.
- basic contract features like release clause.
Seems like a quick cash grab. Really unfortunate.

Is the editor for real?

Regarding the first point, it is perfectly understandable. However, I would say that experimenting with the game:
- Player with best mentality horrible technical vs horrible mentality vs best technical.
- seeing how a player career pans out if he was not an unprofessional player.
- giving non league teams tons of cash.
- moving around parameters in order to try to understand how the game works.
Is one of the most fun things to do in fm. Alas, I fully understand that if people are not interested in that, naturally it won't come to be.
