China is currently number 76th in the world.

We can still qualifiy for the World Cup 2022, but we got 2x KSA and 1x South Korea left, which are pretty hard.

China :lock:I still want to do one of these saves, though I am a bit scared I'll drop one or both saves if I decide to do this, if I did I would most likely do Suwon in South Korea

    From The Top
Football can be a lot of things to different people. For me personally, for me though football is all about the tactics and building a good team that can fluidly work together. It's about spending money wisely and not spending luxuries to sign stars. Football isn't about the things in the game, but the process behind it. And so whilst working on potential job applications a club named Aalborg BK offered me something I could never say no to. They were a team that could theoretically play good and yet they just fell short each time to Copenhagen, Brondby, Midtjylland, or any other team that wanted to make a good run that year. That's why I signed. If I can get this team working then surely we could do well. So I bought a ticket and set a flight to Denmark. I would be spending my nights in a small cottage near Aalborg far away from my usual home. Training would begin early until late in the night with my assistant doing most of the handy work for that.

    Goals and Plans
A long-term plan is a good thing to draw out if you want to be ambitious and show what exactly you plan to achieve in your tenure as manager. This is no different for me at Aalborg, where I have a few ideas in mind as to how I want to manage this club for the future. I hope to build a solid side with Aalborg which can fit with those top three teams I mentioned earlier. I also want to play a fair bit of Moneyball, meaning we should look at things such as say xG to find undervalued players in the market and buy then to fully utilize them on our team. Another objective of mine is to grow more stars from the academy but that will only come when the right player is given from our youth intake. Lastly, I want no more then 3 players in my starting line-up to be outside of Scandinavia. If we can build up our club we can build up our country, or in this case, region.

    Squad Analysis
(note: I have played two games before writing this, so a few injuries come after)

    image.png.42b43d11631a3ffaec0dbdd74c77cadc.png

The only non-scandinavians on this team are Pedro Ferreria, Rufo, Milan Makaric, Matej Delac (a player I brought in from a transfer, took from AC Horsens of the Danish Promotion Division) and Aleksandar Trajovski. The downside is we have 5 injuries now, and most all of them are for starting players or decent role players. Rufo is my favorite player as of now as though he looks acceptable at best the work he has been putting as an AMC are on a different level. Milan was also a nice striker at the front until he got injured. Now we have to wait for him to recover as Tim Prica starts the line at attack for us as of this moment. At 19 the striker has a bunch of potential and we will hope to bring that out of him throughout the year. Mathew Ross is another player I hope can grow as he sits next to veteran CB Anders Hagelskjær. Matej Delac signs as a goalie I needed since I sold my starter (more on that in the next post) and in the first 2 games he has played both have been clean sheets.

    Fir Park - August 1st, 2021

Fir Park Stadium (Motherwell) - 2021 All You Need to Know BEFORE You Go (with Photos) - Tripadvisor

I walked into Fir Park to fight against the mighty Hibernian and try to grab my first win in my first game. It sadly didn't turn out to be that way with both of us settling for a 1-1 draw. I liked the game though since both teams controlled some decent offensive possessions and Slattery scored a goal using the system I wrote up earlier just as intended. The funny part was that we scored right after Hibernian did, so we didn't really get time to be too demotivated with a deficit. I was confident of my ability to manage throughout the game which I didn't expect from myself when signing that contract. Even Alfie was oddly surprised at my tone. I looked calm and collected, more stern then my friend has seen me before. It was only one game though, so we couldn't harp on it. I told my players that we had to focus on the next game and judging from how the reaction of the players went Alfie seemed to give them the message well. At the end of the day though I am still hoping for my first win. I'm going to try to work for it before the end of August, but we will see if that holds true.

    Kalt's Journal - July 27th, 2021

Alright, I should probably write down what my plans are for my tactic here. First, Slattery will be working up the field on attack at times turning into a "second forward" when reality it's more of a mid-area. I'm hoping for O'Hara to stay wider and help fight against the wings. Meanwhile the defense is staying firm for once as I move away from using wing-backs in favor of solid defensive full-backs whilst Grimshaw helps provide additional help when needed. My system is heavily based off Veljko Paunović's system he used at the Chicago Fire before eventually moving to Reading. I only caught on to the manager's scheme after a Tactical Masterclass video which I always recommend to watch if you want to know more about manager's tactics from the manager themselves and from watching the Chicago Fire video it really made me like the 4-2-4 / 4-2-3-1 tactics. Back to the tactic itself, I don't have much instructions so I do not overload the players making them not listen to everything. As well some managers like to congest a lot of instructions in to one tactic and sometimes it might works but usually you are just adding stuff to your system which won't improve it.

    Jim McMahon's Office - July 21st, 2021

Well Society complete deal to become majority shareholders at Motherwell | Glasgow Times

My face turned blank. I just flew here all the way from Iceland hoping I would get experience in how to apply to a job not knowing what all was about to come. My friend Alfie was by my side, he knew English well and translated things back and forth. Meanwhile my face was still and stern, trying to hide the nervousness that grew with me. I know they couldn't understand me but I could understand them just by the tone of their voice. Everyone in the room gave me a weird look. Why were they interviewing someone from Iceland who didn't even have a full Continental badge? My studying to get a national A badge by the time I was 28 seemed impressive but not to a big club like Motherwell.

Jim, the owner and one who would be interviewing me, was slightly intrigued. At least that was what I could tell from his face. He asked me what my goals were at the club and I said to bring them right behind Celtic and Rangers. He liked my idea of a 5 year goal. Next he asked how long I would stay at the club. With a cold face I said forever. Alfie told him what I said and the man looked very surprised. Alfie would later admit to me that nobody else wanted to stay at Motherwell as I did, or if they said that a quick search would find they have already been to 15 clubs across the globe. The interview went alright, though it got on my nerves that I had to keep hearing from Alfie that they were skeptical of my lack of experience.

However the next thing that happened caught me way too off guard. Alfie told me I would be heading back to the office later that day. I was still nervous since maybe they just wanted to honestly tell me I won't make it in the football world. But then I was handed a white piece of paper. The Motherwell logo was placed right at the top as well as text that was clearly google translated. However I knew this was the board handing me my contract. I loved everything on the deal, but I asked why this was. Jim told me that my passion to the game held no bounds seeing as I got my badges relatively quick for starting my studying in my mid 20's. Alfie looked next to me with a smile. I was shocked, but I got the job.

Motherwell announce Icelandic newbie Kalt Ludvigsen as manger
    image.thumb.png.4b616a56424291ea8bc9c21f6ccb6dec.png

Today, Motherwell have announced the signing of a random Icelandic manager which is surely ready to cause a lot of debate. The man is only 28 and just started studying for licenses at the age of 24, so it's safe to say the board of Motherwall have gambled that this man has learned a lot about football in his short time. It is said previous manager Graham Alexander could very well be heading back to England to join yet another League Two or League One side. Back to Ludvigsen now, we do not have a lot of info about him. However on Twitter today he has stated that "Scotland needs a new tactical look, to teach the youth how football works and to teach the men how to win a title." This translation comes from trusted sources who know Icelandic as Kalt onyl speaks in the language. Doubts have been shown if Kalt could really take charge of the dressing room since his translator will need to give off all the plans to his team. Maybe however he could do to Motherwell what Bielsa did to Leeds.
