  1. I also noticed that AI team don't make full use of the bench players  in friendly matches.

Usaually AI only make 1 or 2 subsitions when they are allowed to make more than that.

And here how Real Madrid "cheated" or "bypass" it.

Nobody gonna stand against, if Real M. gave work opportunity to the parents of Endrick to bypass that rule. It's the back door.

Another rule which can easily "bypass" by Real Madrid with 30+ million offer.

So, Endrick actually will sign typical a professional contract when reach 18 y/o. Until then, will have amateur contract and having his parents to provide him financial support (hello, Rule 2, Real Madrid have offered - typically for papers - work for Endrick parents).

    ====

That is an example how clubs bypass rules. Especially the clubs like Real M.

I'm afraid you have forgot Endrick is still a Palmeiras player in all legal documents (he signed a professional contract with Palmeiras before Real Madrid signed him). He is playing for Palmeiras in Brazil righ now. The international transfer in question has not happened yet.

Real Madrid abosolutely has no intention to bring him to Spain before he turns 18. Why do they need to take those actions to "bypass" the rules?

What Real Madrid did is getting Endrick sign a pre-contract to agree on a professional contract which will only take effect when he becomes 18.

The pre-contract itself won't turn Endrick into a Real Madrid player so that it doesn't against any existing rules.

This has been working perfectly in FM til SI screwd it up by changing the players' transfer interest behavior.

This is still ultimately something being done to better reflect the rule changes over recent years. We appreciate people are unhappy with some elements, and it will be subject to further adjustments moving forward to get a better balance. As all subjective aspects of the game are.

We're still only at a point where we'd be able to ask for individual examples from save games (before you try to sign the player) where we can jump in and take a look to help identify areas for further improvement. The reason to ask for save games with specific examples is to hopefully expedite and find as many areas to better balance as possible. It's an area in which you can help shape the process by providing tangible examples. Other than that then you would need to wait for the next update and we'll review feedback on it following that.

What exactly are the rule changes you guys keep talking about?

The FIFA official document is available on the internet to everyone. Please show us the changes.

  4. This happens to all clubs even big clubs like Man City, Liverpool, other clubs will always try to offer very low price to unsettle your young players.

The problems here is that the price offered is way lower than the market values, most times it comes with unrealistic terms (e.g. international appearance, after 50 league appearance, more than 20 league goals) to pretend to be a good offer.

And they keep sending new offers without significant increase in the price. On the last day of the transfer window, you might get 4-5 offers for the same player which is quite annoying.

The workaround is to dicuss with the player to set the asking price.

It has been reported in past versions and I don't see any improvement in FM23.

Can you enlighten me with official documents?

Because in FIFA documents this has been changed. Also, between EU - EU clubs can be signed when it's under 18 and pay the compensation.

Shouldn't SI or you show us what was changed in the FIFA documents?

I have attached the 2022 copy and I don't see there is any difference.

You can look at page 29 INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS INVOLVING MINORS

There is NO rule to stop clubs signing pre contract with players younger than 18.

That's exactly how Real Madrid signed Endrick.

  6. The loan status is set at the start the game. You can see the same happeing in your own youth team.

And AI tream will only put their best young prospects on loan list before the transfer windows starts.

I think the possible solution will be not to preset the loan status so that other clubs can make offer to players not on loan list during the transfer windows.

Doesn't work like that. Game doesn't recognise how many cards a team has or doesn't have then has to 'hit' a certain number. We analyse what the ME produces based on the way it's been balanced across the board, not the other way round.

Get Stuck In works in tandem with other instructions. So a low pressing 'get stuck in' side will likely have less cards than a high press team without it. It's all about overall instructions, game situation and player make-ups (so attributes etc).

Appreciate the pkms and the team will take a look

If you think high pressing means more cards, I have to say you guys know nothing about football.

Look at the Premier League team stats.

Who gets the least cards? Man City and Liverpool!

  8. How do you determine those clubs don't have the interest to extend the loan?

The reality is we cannot extend loan for any single player except for some rare case that the loaning club comes to offer an extension.

Is your QA team able to provide a successful case? If not, then this function is broken.

Yes, the behaviour in game has changed to better reflect the reality of the footballing world. In retrospect, it should have also been the case in FM22.

The reason I mention a feature request is because of the frustration the current presentation of this reality manifests in game. The lack of interest from the players is not perhaps a true lack of interest in playing for your club, but a lack of interest because its against the rules & regulations for them to join you at that time. Maybe people have thoughts on how this could be better presented, when you make an offer maybe it should just have a pop-up message saying "No offer can be made for this player as they cannot be signed under current rules" or maybe the option should be greyed out with a tool tip when hovering over. There's a lot of ways in which this could be presented and probably better ways than the two that I had come to mind.

Perhaps there are some areas which we need to look at with Brazilians, but keep in mind the likes of Vinicius Junior did and Endrick looks to be agreeing moves at 16 when strictly speaking I don't believe its legally binding for them to have signed contracts with anyone. There's a certain lack of clarity which doesn't really get explained in these transfers. There would also have to be a question about whether or not we want to emulate real world mechanisms allowing children to be transferred.

OMG, what are you talking about? You don't even know how your game works?

    image.png.ad6116baf2aba83bf51caac1bb7a9256.png

If we are to make an offer, there is already message telling us that that the transfer will only happen when the player becomes 18.

The point is you shouldn't change how player transfer interest works.

There exists no legislation or regulation in real life to support your change.

  10.  I think in the current game the chance to get a yellow for each foul made is way too high.

Here are some match stats for Manuel Akanji. His dirtiness is 8 which is fairly good.

But you can see in three games he got booked for only one single foul made which is ridiculous.

    cards.thumb.png.ae37ffc3aceb2cd628478c2d5933242e.png

BTW, don't use the total number of cards in the league as execuse.

If I choose to simulate all matches until the end of the season, I will get less cards. So it's the match engine issue.

Just to be clear on this one, rules have changed in real life which have prevented overseas players joining clubs which wasn't the case in previous years - especially in the UK. This is reflected in game by this being more realistic.

It's become a lot rarer in real life football - we don't change things just for the sake of annoying people or trying to make it harder, we do so based on real life factors.

Saying that we are looking at it and it is being fine-tuned based on feedback both from in-house comments and the community. Thanks.

Can confirm the change was made specifically for clubs in UK?

According to the FIFA rules, players between 16 -18 are still allowed to be transfered within EU or EEA.
